Inspiring 2025 Spring Pantone Colors
As we step into Spring 2025, I do what I do every year; look up the Pantone color trends for the warmer months. I love nothing more than to see the trends and incorporate what I can into my seasonal jewelry designs.
Unlike in years past though, this year I found two different palettes. The Pantone Color Institute has unveiled its Fashion Color Trend Reports for both New York and London Fashion Weeks. Initially, I wasn’t sure which of the palettes to pick. But, after looking at the options, I decided it would be a fun change to offer my thoughts and opinions on both. Afterall, I have been writing annually about my Spring Pantone color choices since 2019.
The 2025 Spring Pantone curated colors offer a harmonious blend of vibrant and neutral tones, inspiring fresh ideas for fashion, interior design, and jewelry making. For me, I like to consider which few are my favorites, and how I can incorporate them into my jewelry designs.
2025 New York Spring/Summer Pantone Colors
First up, let’s stay state side with the 2025 New York Spring Pantone colors. This palette features ten standout colors that capture attention and spark curiosity and to me, feels like more traditional spring. The hues are well balanced with vibrant standout colors, lovely pastels that you’d expect for the early spring holidays, and lovely neutrals that work with every color. Interestingly, the New York palette features more cooler colors than the warmer hues, with several blues, greens, and even a purple. The full list of colors is:
Bran
Crocus
Lime Cream
Limpet Shell
White Grape
Deja Vu Blue
Kashmir
Misted Merigold
Orangeade
Cocoon
Of these ten options, here are my favorite color choices.
Deja Vu Blue
This rich and vibrant blue reminds me of Classic Blue, the 2020 Pantone Color of the year. It is bold, but works well with pastel hues that are typical of spring adding a richness and versatility to many of the pastel colors. While I typically imagine this color for spring only, this rich blue reminds me that these colors are meant to be carried through summer too. And for the summer I can see Deja Vu Blue being a great accompanying color. Pair this rich blue with golds for a stand out accessory, or with silver for something more nautical. Lapis lazuli and sodalite are two colors that match this hue well.
Crocus
During the early spring crocus flowers bloom in Colorado. All of these flowers have beautiful light hues. Crocus matches these flowers with the lovely rich purple color. And it screams spring both in name, and in the color. When I think of this color I imagine purple fluorite, and lovely amethyst gemstones. I know from experience that these gemstones work well with silvers, greens, and blues. In my designer eye I see a lot of pastel designs incorporating the Crocus hue.
Lime Cream
This pale green shade goes hand in hand with Crocus. In fact, I’ve seen these two colors together in a fluorite bead strand before. The pale green screams spring evoking the early spring growth. In addition to pairing well with purple, this green can add versatility with other green shades, or be paired with pinks and purples for a design that evokes flowers. In addition to fluorite, green aventurine, and prehnite match this green shade well.
Kashmir
This lovely sage green color is so well rounded and I couldn’t leave this off my list. I love how rich the color is, without being a deep evergreen color. This hue is perfect for spring when green is the predominant color signaling the regrowth and rebirth of the earth.
2025 London Spring/Summer Pantone Colors
Now, across the pond to the 2025 Spring picks from London. Unlike New York, the London Spring colors are bold, vibrant, and filled with color. This palette encourages a harmonious display of color, reflecting a vision of change and renewal including many more neutrals and warmer-hued colors. The full list of colors is:
Airy Blue
White Grape
Pear Sorbet
Viridian Green
Yellow Jasper
Camellia
Sudan Brown
Hibiscus
Passion Flower
Windsor Wind
Of these ten different colors, here are my favorite Spring Hues from London that I’m excited to design with.
Airy Blue
I can’t pass up a good pale blue color from a list. This reminds me of chalcedony, one of my favorite springtime gemstones that I like to create jewelry with. This fresh color evokes rebirth and man of the early spring flowers.
Windsor Wind
This rich purple hue honestly feels more fall-ish but I’m in love with it because the versatility works well for the spring too. Paired with golds or the more pastel colors, this deep plumb color will soar.
Viridian Green
Despite the name, this color isn’t your typical green, it's actually more turquoise. This is another color that would seem to be ideal for the fall/winter, but much like Windsor Wind seems perfect for the spring too. This color pairs well with vibrant pinks, reds, and gold and silver metal tones alike. I have several crystals in this deep green color and know they’ll add a bit of shimmer to any jewelry design.
2025 Spring Pantone Colors
I love being able to pull from two different color palettes this year and how different each is. I can’t wait for the vibrant, floral inspired designs that I’ll begin creating for springs. I love revisiting the Pantone color inspiration each season. That’s why I’ve written about my favorite colors the past several years running. Revisit my past picks from 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
