Four Favorite Spring 2020 Pantone Colors

Spring is officially here and as the season’s transition I especially like looking at the different color trends. As they do each season, Pantone has released their list of hot colors for the season and as usual, there are a few that have caught my eye. Here are five of my favorite Spring 2020 Pantone colors I look forward to designing with.

Sunlight

Yellow isn’t normally a color I typically gravitate towards, but the pale hue of sunset really speaks to me. I have some yellow aventurine that’s calling to me and is the perfect shade to match.

Coral Pink

Coral pink reminds me of the 2019 Pantone color of the year Living Coral, and I’m ok with that. I really enjoyed designing with it last year and will always take another opportunity to revisit working with the color. I suppose it’s time for me to dig up my cherry quartz, rose quartz, and tourmaline.

Faded Denim

The faded denim is an inspiring color to think of working with. The pale blue color seems to lend itself well with leather and metal, giving countless design options. I’m excited to dream up designs with this color taking center stage.

Flame Scarlet

Flame scarlet reminds me of cherry tomato, a color that was released as a Spring 2018 Pantone color trend. While I didn’t quite pay attention to the spring color trends in 2018 (I wouldn’t start incorporating the spring and summer trends into my designs until the 2019 spring Pantone colors), I did inherit some beads that are matched to this hue. I look forward to designing using these fun and colorful beads this season.

I’m so excited to begin designing with these colors. I’m especially excited for the bright and bold colors to make their way into my forthcoming jewelry designs.
