2025 Jewelry Business Resolutions
Each year since 2018 I’ve been posting about my jewelry business goals for the year ahead. As I write this post, I’ve just completed migrating a majority of the blog content from my old website to my newly designed one, and I can say that I’ve truly enjoyed looking back at prior years and seeing how my business has changed and evolved through the years. I think a lot of the growth I’ve seen has been attributed to the goals that I set for myself each year.
As I’ve done for the past seven years, I wanted to continue the tradition of posting my goals for the new year, and revisiting how I fared in 2024. Without further ado…
2024 jewelry business resolutions revisited
Last year I focused my attention on two goals to help move my business forward. I had felt that the past few years I had spread myself too thin with too many different goals. My strategy worked because I can say that by focusing myself I was able to really make a positive impact on my business.
Create a Strong Cohesive Marketing Schedule - goal moderately achieved
I wanted to work smarter last year and create monthly themes for my marketing strategy that would translate across my website content, social media posts, and email newsletters. I did outline topics for myself, and I did reference those, but I think there’s some work that could be done in the next year to officially mark this goal accomplished.
Create More Jewelry - accomplished
I created several jewelry collections last year, and I’m pleased with them all. Many of them were smaller than previously released collections, but I enjoyed where my creativity took me last year. However, one place that I am sorely lacking is the metalsmithing designs; I didn’t add any to my inventory and it was incredibly apparent near the end of the year that this needs to be a priority for 2025.
2025 jewelry business resolutions
Now that we’ve gone back and reflected on 2024, it’s time to look forward to 2025 and the goals that I have for my jewelry business.
Online Website
As you’ve likely seen, I redesigned my jewelry website. I plan to discuss this more in a longer blog, but it’s been something I’ve been considering for some time now. With this exciting change comes many hours of work, both in 2024 and upcoming in 2025.
The big change that I’ll be working on is an online shop. This means I’ll be moving from my Etsy store to host my jewelry through my online website. This won’t happen overnight, so if you’d like to be the first to know about when this change happens, sign up for my email newsletter.
Cohesive Marketing Strategy
I like where my head was at in 2024 and I’m really owning the idea of streamlining my messaging. I’ve already outlined content for the full year thanks to helpful monthly topics I brainstormed and refreshed this year. I am also working to streamlining my marketing strategy by bringing these themes into my social media and reusing timely topics (subscribe to my newsletter, upcoming events, information about me, that kind of thing). 2024 was the year that I once again consistently sent out my email newsletter monthly, so with the helpful topics I outlined last year, my goal is to continue streamlining content and expanding on these topics across all my channels.
I still have some content that I’d like to migrate from my old website. I’m looking forward to refreshing it, and giving it a fresh spin. I also have a few fun tricks up my sleeves; I’d like to implement a holiday marketing strategy that hones in on jewelry picks for those searching for personalized gifts. So I’ll be taking what I brainstormed in 2024 and putting it in place for 2025.
More Metal Jewelry in 2025
In 2025, I need to create more metal jewelry. I’ve slowly sold many of the items I’ve created in the past, so it’s time to spend the time restocking on these items for my upcoming markets. I’d like to create 5 different rings, as well as 5 different necklaces. My goal is to begin working on those this month, so sneak peeks will be coming soon.
2025 is filled with possibility
I’m optimistic about what 2025 will bring for both me personally, and with my jewelry business. Each year is a clean slate and offers the opportunity to reflect, regroup, and continue building. Wishing you a very happy new year and all the best for 2025.
