As a jewelry designer, I know first hand that it can be tough to find the right design tools for marketing my jewelry business. This is especially the case when it comes to photo editing and image design. If you aren’t ready to take the plunge and purchase Photoshop, it can be tough to know where to turn for photo editing software, or even to find tools to create simple images.
Most design tools tend to come with a hefty price tag. When you’re saving for important supplies like metal or beads, it can be hard to spare the cost on platforms. That’s why I’ve compiled a list of 4 different marketing design tools you can use to elevate the marketing for your jewelry business.
The Skinny: Canva is a free tool that allows you to create images for social media and even print materials. It operates using a great drag-and-drop functionality that allows you to pick your elements easily, and change fonts quickly. There are a plethora of templates for free, or if you want one that’s a bit more advanced you can purchase some for a low cost too.
Price: It’s free after registration, but be ready to pay a low price for certain templates and elements.
The Skinny: Crello is a free tool that allows you to create images for blogs, ads, posters, digital ads for your jewelry website, and any other marketing materials you can dream up. It offers 10,000 design templates, 31 design formats, and free stock images and vectors. Simply put, it’s pretty awesome.
Price: Crello is free to those who register, and includes a lot of awesome elements without a cost. That being said, some of the photos will cost you $0.99.
The Skinny: If you’re looking for a free version of Photoshop, Pixlr is the option for you. This software features many of the basic functions of Photoshop allowing you to edit all your photos.
Price: Are you ready for the best part? Pixlr is free to download. This makes Pixlr a great choice for any budget.
The Skinny: Any good designer knows that fonts are key to any good image. They can help convey messages and add to the overall feeling of your images. But most come with a hefty price tag. This is where Google Fonts comes in; this program has made several different fonts available to download for free. You can choose from up to 800 different fonts.
