Being extra weight for your tent. And prepare with a center weight to help your tent stay put.

Indoor vs. outdoor

When looking at craft shows, consider the pros and cons of indoor vs. outdoor shows. Indoor shows protect you from the elements, but you’ll need to make sure that you have a strong promoter. If you do an outdoor show, you can have the benefit of through traffic, but you’re exposed to the elements. You decide which is best for you.

Prepare for the elements

If your outside remember that you’ll be more exposed to the elements. Bring extra water and be sure to layer up if it’s cooler.

Be polite

A lot of people make jewelry which means you’ll have a lot of competition. In my experience, you can take two outlooks. You can recognize that these designers have a different angle than you which will attract a different buyer and be polite. Or, you can be completely rude about the competition. Just remember the community is a small one and word travels fast.
