There are those who love the summer season the most. The longer days, the time outside, the sun-filled afternoons, all of this has an allure to those who love the warmer months.

I’m not one of those people.

As the temperature heats up, I find myself more miserable doing much outside. And while I love the outdoors in moderation, spending countless hours outside isn’t my idea of a good time.

But, a few years ago, I told myself that it’s important to appreciate all seasons and the differences they bring. So instead of wishing time away, I’m making the most of the warmth and the inspiration it’s affording me.

A few years ago I was inspired to create an all-gold summer jewelry collection I dubbed the Golden Goddess jewelry collection. This collection challenged me to think differently, because silver is my go-to metal choice with most designs. The monochromatic color palette also helped me think differently about the jewelry I design. I loved that collection and the creativity it inspired. And I’ve wanted to revisit this inspiration for the past several years.

Earlier this summer I spent a few hours in my garage studio creating jewelry. As much as I may gripe about the summer season, even I need to admit there is something about sunny afternoons filled with the golden rays that draw me to gold.

I’m excited to unveil the Golden Goddess Volume II summer jewelry collection, a second iteration of this collection featuring yellows and golds together in fashionable jewelry accessories. Shop this collection in my online shop and snag your favorite design before it’s gone!
