I’m often asked how to buy the right jewelry gift for others at my booth. And while I’m great at recommending designs based on a variety of factors, I know that sometimes, what I have on hand doesn’t always work. How do I create custom jewelry gifts?
Most people think it’s difficult to create custom jewelry gifts. In fact, my goal is to make the process as simple as possible. When you work with me, we begin my completing a custom jewelry questionnaire so I can learn more about the person you are giving the jewelry to. This helps me pick the right design, colors, and metals. From there, I get to work creating something that fits the style and taste of your gift recipient. Truly, I do all the hard work.
How long do you need to create custom jewelry gifts?
For more simple designs, my turnaround time is 4-weeks. If you want something more complex, like a metalsmithing design, it could take up to 2-months. Because the holidays are one of my busiest times of the year, ordering earlier will ensure that I have the time needed to create your custom holiday jewelry gift.
How much will it cost to create custom holiday jewelry gifts?
It’s hard to say exactly how much your jewelry will cost without knowing what you want to design. Typically, most of my wire working designs are between $30-$40, depending on if you want to incorporate a lot of gemstones. If you want something more complex, the price could be higher. If you want to commission me to create a metalsmithing design, then the cost will likely be between $95-$115, depending on the complexity. I pride myself on having reasonable prices, but I do need to be sure that I am paying myself for the time and materials I am using.
How do I place my custom jewelry order with you?
To get started, begin by completing my custom jewelry questionnaire. In this form, I ask for some basic contact information. Once I receive your form, we will set up a consultation time where I can ask you any additional questions I may have, as well as talk through some design ideas I may have. Once we agree on a design, I get to work!
